El regreso a México 3 meses después de haber vuelto a España fue increíble, muy intenso y lleno de nuevos conocimientos.

Inicié mi viaje llegando a Ciudad de México, donde el doctor Peña me invitó a acompañes en el quirófano en una cirugía de una cloaca compleja. Fue todo un éxito y un auténtico privilegio poder verlo operar de nuevo.
Después acudí al 2º Curso internacional en problemas colorrectales en pediatría, curso precongreso del XLVIII Congreso Nacional de Cirugía Pediatrica de México, que se celebró en Huatulco.
El curso consistió en varias charlar super interesante por parte de los profesores nacionales e internacionales. Tuvimos lo oportunidad de ver operar en directo al Dr. Peña y a la Dra. Bischoff una malformación anorrectal con fístula recto-uretro bulbar y una paciente con cloaca. También tuvimos el privilegio de acompañar al Dr. de la Torre durante la cirugía de un descenso transan endorrectal primario. Después del fin del curso pudimos compartir una muy agradable comida con todos los amigos del grupo de Cirujanos Pediátricos Colorrectales. Cada momento con ellos es increíble!!

Después viajamos a Huatulco y acudimos al Curso de actualización continua en cirugía Pediátrica (PAC), donde acompañamos al Dr. Peña, la Dra. Bischoff y el Dr. de la Torre en la sección de Cirugía Pediatrica Colorrectal. Siempre es un placer escucharlos y aprendemos algo cada vez que acudimos a sus charlas. Por último, regresamos a Puebla porque todavía había mucho trabajo allí. El Dr. de la Torre, el Dr. Ruiz y yo operamos 4 pacientes en esos días: un niño con enfermedad de Hirschsprung primario, un niño con enfermedad de Hirschsprung operado previamente pero complicado con aganglionosis residual, un niño con enfermedad de Hirschsprung y derivación intestinal y una paciente complicada con fistulas sacras. El trabajo de estos días fue muy intenso pero disfrutamos mucho las cirugías, tratando a los niños con mucho cariño, mucho cuidado y mucho respeto por los bebes. Y todavía puede ir al Hospital para el Niño Poblano para saludar a mis enfermeras preferidas!. Como les echo de menos a todos!! Como siempre, un honor y un privilegio ser parte de este equipo!!
